  • Green Apples - 2 pieces
  • Brown Sugar - 2 tablespoons
  • Wheat Flour - 1 teaspoon
  • Ground Cinnamon - ½ teaspoon
  • Water - 2 fl oz
  • Farm fresh eggs - 2 pieces
  • Milk - 2 fl oz
  • Vanilla salt - ½ teaspoon
  • Sourdough Bread - 4 slices
  • Butter - to taste
  • Walnuts - 2 fl oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Peel the apples and remove the core, then slice them thinly.

Step 2

In a skillet, melt 2 tablespoons of butter and add the apples, sugar, flour, cinnamon, and water. Cook until the apples are soft, about 10-15 minutes. Remove from heat.

Step 3

In a bowl, mix the eggs, milk, and vanilla.

Step 4

Dip the slices of bread into the egg-milk mixture, allowing them to soak a bit.

Melt a small amount of butter in a skillet over medium heat and fry the bread slices for 3-4 minutes on each side until golden brown.
