Fried Adyghe Cheese Appetizer
Ingredients
- Adyghe cheese - 3.5 oz
- Sun-Dried Tomatoes - 3 pieces
- Ginger - 0.5 oz
- Garlic - 1 piece
- Watercress - 2 stems
- Olive Oil - 1½ tablespoons
- Salt - a pinch
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the garlic and ginger, then crush them with a chef's knife.
Step 2
Finely chop the garlic.
Step 3
Do the same with the sun-dried tomatoes.
Step 4
Finely chop the watercress and combine it with the tomatoes and garlic.
Step 5
Heat the mustard oil in a skillet and add the ginger. Sauté until golden brown and remove.
Step 6
In the fragrant oil, place the cheese cut into slices about 1 cm thick. Season with white pepper.
Step 7
Once the bottom side is browned, flip and lightly salt.
Step 8
After 3–4 minutes, remove from heat and transfer to a plate.
Step 9
Spread the prepared mixture on the cheese.
Step 10
Garnish with a leaf of greenery and serve.
