- Leek - 24.7 oz
- Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Salad Potatoes - 12.3 oz
- Celery salt - 17.6 oz
- Dried Rosemary - 1 tablespoon
- Thyme - 0.5 oz
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Trim the dark green leaves and roots from the leek. Slice the remaining parts into thin rings. Peel the potatoes and cut them into sticks (like for French fries). Peel the celery root and cut it in the same way as the potatoes.
Step 2
Place the leek in a bowl of ice water and let it sit for 5–10 minutes, then drain.
Step 3
In a large skillet, heat the olive oil over medium heat. Add the leek, potatoes, and celery root. Cook, stirring, for 15 minutes until golden.
Step 4
Then reduce the heat, sprinkle with herbs, and sauté until tender for about another 10 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Serve immediately.
