Fried Brussels sprouts with white wine and garlic
Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 2 fl oz
- Brussels Sprouts - 2 lbs
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Dry White Wine - 8 fl oz
- Ocean salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Olive Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Remove the outer leaves from the Brussels sprouts and cut each one in half lengthwise.
Step 2
In a large skillet, heat half of the olive oil over medium heat and add the crushed garlic cloves. Place half of the Brussels sprouts cut side down in the skillet and fry until golden brown, then flip and add half of the wine. Cook until the sprouts are tender. Repeat the same with the remaining sprouts.
Step 3
Season the cooked sprouts with salt and pepper and drizzle with good olive oil.
