Description
Fried horse mackerel is a delicious and simple dish that can be enjoyed at any time. It is often served with a side of fresh vegetables or a light salad. Perfect for a family dinner or a casual gathering with friends, this dish captures the essence of home-cooked meals. The fish is seasoned to perfection and cooked until golden brown, making it a delightful choice for seafood lovers.
Ingredients
- Saury - 10.6 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 7 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 3.5 oz
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the fish scales and gut it.
Step 2
Combine the flour with salt and coat the fish in the mixture. Hold two fish by their tails and gently tap them against each other to shake off any excess flour. Repeat this process with all the fish.
Step 3
In a deep skillet, heat plenty of oil. The oil should be deep enough to reach halfway up the thickness of the fish. Fry the fish on both sides. If the finished dish seems under-seasoned, you can add more salt when serving.
