Ingredients
- Blue Ling Fillet - 7.1 oz
- Wheat Flour - 2.8 oz
- Milk - 2 fl oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the fish fillet into long pieces about 1 cm thick. Mix a little vegetable oil, lemon juice, salt, pepper, and parsley. Add the fish, mix well, and let it marinate for 20-30 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, make the batter. Slightly warm the milk and add the yolk, salt, a little vegetable oil, and flour. Mix well. Whip the egg white until stiff peaks form and fold it into the batter gently.
Step 3
Heat vegetable oil in a pan. Pat the fish dry with a paper towel and dip it in the batter. Fry the fish pieces for 2 minutes until golden brown. Place them on a paper towel.
Step 4
Serve on plates with any sauce.
