Description
You can serve it as an appetizer, or place it on a meat steak or pasta.
Ingredients
- Fresh Mushrooms - 24.7 oz
- Shallot - 3 pieces
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the mushrooms into thin pieces. Finely chop the shallots.
Step 2
In a metal skillet, heat the vegetable oil well, add a handful of sliced mushrooms and cook, stirring, until the volume is reduced by half. Then add a pinch of salt (this will help evaporate more moisture from the mushrooms).
Step 3
Push the sautéed mushrooms to the side and add the remaining mushrooms and a small amount of vegetable oil. Sauté until golden and browned. Taste and adjust the salt as needed. Add more salt and butter if necessary. Generously pepper.
Step 4
Add the shallots and cook over medium heat, stirring, for about 2 minutes, just until the shallots are no longer crunchy. Transfer to a plate and serve.
