Ingredients
- Olive Oil - 3 spoons
- Fresh Mushrooms - 24 oz
- Garlic - 4 cloves
- Chili Flakes - a pinch
- Water - ½ glasses
- Green onion tops - 3 pieces
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Coarse Salt - to taste
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 2 spoons
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Thoroughly rinse the mushrooms, dry them, and cut them in half or into quarters, depending on their size.
Step 2
Heat olive oil in a large skillet and add the mushrooms. Sauté for 3 minutes over medium heat, stirring occasionally.
Step 3
Meanwhile, finely chop the green onions (only the white part).
Step 4
Add minced garlic, red pepper flakes, and chopped onion to the mushrooms. Pour in water, season with salt and pepper, and bring to a boil.
Step 5
Cover with a lid, reduce the heat, and cook for about 5 minutes, until the mushrooms are tender.
Step 6
Add lemon juice and parsley, mix well, and serve.
