Ingredients
- Pattypans - 17.6 oz
- Breadcrumbs - 1.8 oz
- Buckwheat Groats - 1 cup
- Onion - 1 head
- Tomatoes - 5 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Slice the pattypans into pieces 1–2 cm thick, salt them, coat in flour or breadcrumbs, and fry on both sides.
Step 2
Separately fry the slices of onion and place them on top of the pattypans. Slice the fresh tomatoes and place them on top of the onion.
Step 3
Place everything in a deep frying pan, cover the dish with a lid, and simmer on low heat or in the oven for 10–15 minutes. Serve warm or chilled.
