Fried Sandwiches with Bacon and Pear
Ingredients
- White bread - 4 slices
- Bacon - 2 slices
- Bartlett Pear - 1 piece
- White Cheddar Cheese - 1.4 oz
- Butter - 4 teaspoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Peel the pear and slice it thinly.
Step 2
Cut the bacon into strips and lightly fry in a heated skillet, being careful not to burn it. Transfer to a paper towel.
Step 3
Spread butter on one side of each slice of bread and place them in the same heated skillet, butter side down. On top of 2 slices of bread, layer the cheese, then the pear slices and bacon. Lightly fry and cover with 2 empty slices of bread. Press down and fry for a little longer until golden brown and the cheese is slightly melted.
Step 4
Transfer to plates and cut diagonally in half.
