Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - 1 tablespoon
- Salt - a pinch
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Panko breadcrumbs - 0.9 oz
- Tiger shrimp in brine - 10 pieces
- Lime - 1 piece
- Vegetable Oil - 4 spoons
- Sesame Oil - 1 tablespoon
- English Dry Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Sweet Chili Sauce - 10 fl oz
- Ketchup - 1 tablespoon
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the mustard and sesame oil. Then add the chili sauce, ketchup, and sugar. Stir well and refrigerate.
Step 2
In three bowls, place flour and salt, lightly beaten egg, and breadcrumbs. Peel the shrimp, leaving the tails on, and coat them first in the flour mixture, then in the egg, and finally in the breadcrumbs. Arrange them on a clean towel and press lightly to ensure the breadcrumbs stick well. Chill.
Step 3
Heat a wok or skillet over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until it starts to smoke, then add vegetable oil. Sauté the shrimp in two batches until golden brown on both sides.
Step 4
Arrange on two plates and serve with sauce and lime wedges.
