- Water - 7 fl oz
- Sugar - 3.9 oz
- Star anise - 2 pieces
- Cinnamon - 1 piece
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Oranges - 2 pieces
- Apple - 1 piece
- Dried Apricots - 12 pieces
- Asian Pear - 1 piece
- Bananas - 1.8 oz
- Papaya flesh - 1.8 oz
- Mango - 1.8 oz
- Lychee - 12 pieces
- Sake - 2 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a skillet, pour in the water and add the sugar, star anise, cinnamon, chili, orange juice, and zest. Bring to a boil and cook for 5 minutes, then reduce the heat. Add the diced apple and pear, followed by the dried fruits, cover with a lid, and simmer for 45 minutes to 1 hour until soft.
Step 2
Transfer to a bowl and add the peeled and halved lychee. Heat the sake, but do not bring it to a boil, and pour it over the fruits. Mix and serve.
