Ingredients
- Chicken Broth - 5 fl oz
- Pike - 2.8 oz
- Pearl barley - 1.1 oz
- Carrot - 0.5 oz
- Onion - 1 piece
- Salt - 0.2 oz
- Green peppercorns - 0.1 oz
- Bay leaf - 1½ g
- Vodka - 0 fl oz
- Parsley - 0.2 oz
- Water - 5 fl oz
- Potato - 1.1 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean and cut the fish into large pieces.
Step 2
Place the head and tail in water, wrapped in cheesecloth. Boil for 15 minutes.
Step 3
Combine the two types of broth. Add the barley.
Step 4
Finely chop the potato and boil it for 15 minutes.
Step 5
Add coarsely chopped carrots and a peeled onion, making a cross-shaped cut on the onion. Add pepper, salt, bay leaves, and allspice berries.
Step 6
Remove the fish wrapped in cheesecloth, along with the carrot and onion. Add the pieces of fish and cook until done.
Step 7
At the end of cooking, add green onions, dill, and vodka.
