Ingredients
- Rice Vinegar for Sushi - 3 cups
- Sugar - 3 cups
- Chili jam - 3 tablespoons
- Corn Starch - 2 tablespoons
- White bread - 1 piece
- Milk - 2 cups
- Lean Beef - 15.9 oz
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Soy Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Grated Ginger Root - 1½ tablespoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1½ tablespoons
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Sesame Oil - 2 teaspoons
- Salt - 2 teaspoons

Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sweet Sauce. Combine vinegar and sugar in a saucepan and bring to a boil, stirring until the sugar is completely dissolved, about 7-10 minutes.
Step 2
Add chili sauce and cornstarch, bring back to a boil. The sauce should be thick enough. Remove from heat and let it cool completely.
Step 3
Soak the bread in milk for 30 minutes. Then add the ground beef and the remaining ingredients. Mix until well combined.
Step 4
Shape into small balls and place them on a baking sheet. Bake for 18-20 minutes until fully cooked. Cool, brush with sauce, and serve.
