Garlic shrimp with Provençal mayonnaise
Ingredients
- Butter - 4.2 oz
- Garlic - 6 cloves
- Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1½ tablespoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
- King Prawns - 36 pieces
- Pitted olives - 2 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise - 15.9 oz
- Sun-Dried Tomatoes - 2 tablespoons
- Fresh basil leaves - ¼ cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a small bowl, mix mayonnaise, finely chopped olives, finely chopped tomatoes, and 0.25 cup of finely chopped basil leaves. Refrigerate.
Step 2
Meanwhile, melt the butter in a skillet over low heat and add the minced garlic. Then add the finely chopped chili, squeezed lemon juice, and finely chopped basil. Stir and remove from heat.
Step 3
Remove the heads from the shrimp and cut each one in half lengthwise, without peeling or cutting all the way through at the tails. Remove the vein and rinse well. Pat dry with a paper towel. Season with salt and pepper.
Step 4
Preheat the grill well.
Step 5
Place the shrimp on the grill, shell side down, and brush with the butter sauce. Grill for 3–4 minutes until cooked through. Transfer to a plate.
Step 6
Warm the remaining sauce and drizzle over the shrimp. Sprinkle with parsley and basil.
Step 7
Serve with the prepared mayonnaise.
