Description
Garlic toasts with three types of cheese
Ingredients
- Ciabatta - 1 piece
- Butter - 3 tablespoons
- Cheddar cheese - 3.5 oz
- Mozzarella Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Parmesan Cheese - 3.5 oz
- Italian Herb Mix - 1 teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the loaf in half. To help the bread absorb the butter better and to easily separate it into segments, make crosswise cuts without cutting all the way through.
Step 2
Make garlic butter by melting about 3 tablespoons of butter over medium heat with minced garlic and fresh herbs. Be careful not to burn the garlic pieces, as this can make the butter taste bitter. Once a pleasant aroma arises, remove the butter from the heat.
Step 3
Spread the butter evenly over the surface of the bread cut.
Step 4
Grate the cheese. Distribute a portion of the cheese over the surface of the bread and place everything in a preheated oven at 428°F on the top rack (as close to the heating element as possible). Keep an eye on the cooking process to ensure the cheese and bread do not burn, but rather achieve a nice golden color.
