Ingredients
- Onion - 3 heads
- Lamb Neck Fillet - 17.6 oz
- Red Long Chili Peppers - ½ teaspoon
- Mild Chili Spice - to taste
- Salt - ½ teaspoon
- Toasted Cumin Seeds - ½ teaspoon
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Passata Tomato Sauce - 2 tablespoons
- Dill - to taste
- Red Grape Juice - 1 cup
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Cut the meat into cubes, approximately 2x2 cm, and fry (without oil) until golden brown. During frying, drain the resulting broth into a separate container.
Step 2
Add salt and ground red pepper. Add the onion rings and continue frying together with the meat for 5 minutes. Add the tomato paste and wine mixed with the drained broth. Simmer covered for 1.5 hours.
Step 3
15 minutes before readiness, add the red chili pepper (to taste), cumin, and roughly chopped herbs. Before removing from heat, add crushed garlic. Serve with thick lavash.
