Description

Now you can enjoy the drink, treat your friends, and savor the fact that it contains only natural ingredients.

Ingredients

  • Sugar - 10.6 oz
  • Lemon - 1 piece
  • Grated Ginger Root - 1 piece
  • Water - 1 qt
  • Dry yeast - 1 teaspoon

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Take a fresh ginger root. Do not use pickled ginger; it is not suitable, only fresh. Peel the root and grate it on a fine grater.

Step 2

If you add as much ginger as shown in the picture for five liters, the drink will turn out VERY spicy, so if you have stomach issues or simply cannot stand spicy food, use less. Four to five tablespoons will be quite enough.

Step 3

Next, squeeze the lemons. If the juice contains pulp and seeds, that's okay. Later, when everything is prepared, just strain the drink.

Step 4

Dissolve the juice from two lemons, the grated ginger, and sugar (300 g) in 5 liters of boiled water, and add a teaspoon of yeast.

Step 5

WARNING! The water should not be hot, or the yeast will die immediately, and your ale will just sour. Specifically, it should not be hotter than 104°F; if you go by feel, it should just be warm.

Step 6

Take the cap from a five-liter bottle, make a hole in it, and insert a drip system. Remove the syringe from the system in advance and cut the end of the tube.

Step 7

Check if air passes through; if it does, everything is okay, and you can pour the ale into the bottle.

Step 8

Screw on the cap, and place the end of the system's tube into another bottle of water. The main thing is that it goes under the water.
