- Water - 1 qt
- Cinnamon - 1 piece
- Lemon - ⅓ piece
- Honey - 1 tablespoon
- Ginger - 0.5 oz
- Fresh Mint - 1 piece
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Bring the water to a boil.
Step 2
Slice the ginger into 3 pieces; this will be enough, you can use more, but it will make the tea very strong in ginger flavor. Cut ⅓ of the lemon and slice it into 4 parts.
Step 3
In a teapot, add: 1 cinnamon stick (or 1.5 teaspoons of ground cinnamon), 1 tablespoon of honey, the sliced ginger, and lemon.
Step 4
Pour boiling water over the contents of the teapot and let it steep for about 10-15 minutes. For more aroma, you can add a sprig of fresh mint.
