Ingredients

  • Water - 1 qt
  • Grated Ginger Root - 3 tablespoons
  • Sugar - 6 tablespoons
  • Honey - 5 tablespoons
  • Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 4 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Boil 1.2 liters of water.

Step 2

Add 3 tablespoons of finely grated fresh ginger and remove from heat.

Step 3

Dissolve 6 tablespoons of sugar and 5 tablespoons of honey.

Step 4

Strain.

Step 5

Add a pinch of ground black pepper and 4 tablespoons of lemon or orange juice.
