Description
It is not recommended to use dry rice. Risotto should be creamy and sticky; you won't achieve that with dry rice.
Ingredients
- Nerone Rice - 12.3 oz
- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Goat cheese - 8.8 oz
- Onion - 1 head
- Butter - 0.7 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Apple Wine - 3 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Finely chop the onion. Place the butter in the bottom of a pot, melt it, and sauté the onion over low heat until golden.
Step 2
Add the rice and pour in the wine. Stir constantly until the wine evaporates, then add half of the broth. Cook the rice, adding more broth as needed.
Step 3
When the rice is cooked, turn off the heat, add the diced gorgonzola, season with pepper, and mix well.
