Description
Grape compote for winter with apple and cinnamon without sterilization
Ingredients
- Grapefruits - 30 oz
- Apple - 5 oz
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Ground Cinnamon - 4 g (about 0.5 teaspoon)
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Thoroughly wash the three-liter jars with baking soda.
Step 3
Fill a pot with approximately 2.5 liters of water for each jar and place it on the stove.
Step 4
Wash the grapes thoroughly under running water.
Step 5
Separate the grapes from the stems. Remove any spoiled grapes.
Step 6
Wash the apples well under running water, remove the core, and cut into slices.
Step 7
Place the grapes and apples into the prepared jar.
Step 8
Add 4 grams of ground cinnamon (about 0.5 teaspoon) to the jar.
Step 9
Carefully pour boiling water over the prepared ingredients in the jar.
Step 10
Cover the jar with a metal lid, but do not seal it, and let it sit for about 30 minutes.
Step 11
After 30 minutes, pour the water back into the pot, add sugar at the rate of 1 cup per three-liter jar, stir well, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 5 minutes.
Step 12
Carefully pour the finished marinade into the jar while hot. Seal the jar with a lid or screw cap. Turn it upside down to ensure the lid is sealed properly.
Step 13
Wrap the sealed jar of compote in a blanket or towel.
Step 14
Leave the wrapped jars until completely cool. Store the finished compote in a cool place.
