Ingredients
- Merlot Grapes - 17.6 oz
- Sugar - 1 cup
- Ground clove - 5 pieces
- Plums - 10.6 oz

Prepare the necessary ingredients.
Step 2
Wash the grapes thoroughly under running water.
Step 3
Separate the grapes from the stems. Remove any spoiled grapes.
Step 4
Wash the plums thoroughly under running water.
Step 5
Remove the pits from the plums.
Step 6
Wash the three-liter jars well with baking soda.
Step 7
Fill a pot with water, approximately 2.5 liters for one three-liter jar, and place it on the heat.
Step 8
Place the prepared grapes and plums into the jar. Add 5 cloves.
Step 9
Carefully pour boiling water over the contents of the jar. Cover with a metal lid, but do not seal. Let it sit for about 30 minutes.

After thirty minutes, pour the water back into the pot, add sugar at the rate of one cup per three-liter jar, stir well, bring to a boil, and simmer for about 5 minutes.

Wrap the jar with a blanket or towel.

Leave it until completely cool. Store the finished compote in a cool place.
