Description
A Scandinavian treasure that transforms fish into the best appetizer. You will also need sea salt (it's more delicate and interesting — not the kind you want to substitute with regular salt), dill, and vodka!
Ingredients
- Smoked haddock fillet - 17.6 oz
- Dill - 2 bunches
- Ocean salt - 2 spoons
- Sugar - 1 tablespoon
- Ground Black Pepper - 1 tablespoon
- Vodka - 4 spoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Mix the salt, sugar, and pepper together, and rub the mixture onto the fish. Then, rub half of the finely chopped dill onto the fish.
Step 2
Place in a container, pour vodka over the top, and wrap it in plastic wrap. Place a board on top to press the fish down.
Step 3
Chill for 24–48 hours.
Step 4
Rinse the fish, sprinkle with the remaining dill, and slice.
