Ingredients

  • Shallot - 1 piece
  • Vegetable Oil - 1 tablespoon
  • Garlic - 1 clove
  • Grated Ginger Root - 1 teaspoon
  • Chinese green beans - 17.6 oz
  • Soy Sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Peanut Butter - 1 tablespoon
  • Chili jam - 1 tablespoon
  • Kung Pao Sauce - 1 tablespoon
  • Lime Juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Water - 2 tablespoons
  • Chopped Green Onions - 1 tablespoon
  • Mild Chili Spice - 1 piece
  • Peanut Sprouts - 4 tablespoons

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a skillet, heat the vegetable oil and sauté the finely chopped shallot for 3 minutes until soft.

Step 2

Add the minced garlic and ginger and sauté for another minute until fragrant.

Step 3

Add the green beans and sauté until tender, about 3 minutes.

Step 4

In a small bowl, mix the peanut butter, hoisin sauce, chili sauce, soy sauce, lime juice, and water. Pour the sauce over the green beans and mix well.

Step 5

Serve topped with cilantro, sliced chili, and roughly chopped peanuts.
