- Butter - 2.1 oz
- Chinese green beans - 31.7 oz
- Dijon Mustard - 1 tablespoon
- Pickled garlic - 1 teaspoon
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 2 tablespoons
- Chopped almonds - 1.4 oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Trim the ends of the green beans and boil them in salted water for 3–4 minutes, then drain and immediately transfer to a bowl of ice water to preserve the color. Pat dry.
Step 2
Melt the butter in a large skillet over medium heat. Add half of the thyme, mustard, and garlic salt. Add the green beans, stir, and cook for another 4 minutes.
Step 3
Transfer to a serving dish and sprinkle with almonds and the remaining thyme.
