Description
I usually add leaves from one sprig of basil, which is quite enough.
Ingredients
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Chinese green beans - 7.1 oz
- Basil - to taste
- Pistachios - 1.8 oz
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Balsamic Vinegar - 3 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Place a small pot of salted water on the stove. Rinse the beans under running water, trim the tough ends of the pods, and cut the pods in half crosswise (or leave them whole). Boil the pods in the boiling water for 5 minutes. Drain the water.
Step 2
Heat a skillet over medium heat and sauté the finely chopped garlic in a small amount of olive oil for 1 minute until fragrant.
Step 3
Add the pine nuts to the garlic and sauté for another 2 minutes.
Step 4
Now add the beans, balsamic vinegar, and basil leaves, and sauté over high heat, stirring constantly, for 5 minutes. Serve immediately.
