Ingredients
- Walnuts - 3.5 oz
- Onion - 3.5 oz
- Chinese green beans - 17.6 oz
- Herbs - 1.8 oz
- Vinegar essence - ¼ cup
- Garlic - 1 clove
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Clean the string beans from the strings, rinse them in cold water, cut them into pieces, and cook in boiling salted water (cooking green beans takes about 15–20 minutes).
Step 2
Drain the cooked beans in a colander, let the water drain, then transfer the beans to a salad bowl or deep porcelain dish and pour over the prepared walnut sauce.
Step 3
Crush the walnut kernel with garlic and add salt, ground red pepper, finely chopped onion, and chopped cilantro (or parsley). Mix everything together and dilute with vinegar. When serving, sprinkle with finely chopped parsley or dill.
