Ingredients
- Tomatoes - 8.1 oz
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Habanero Pepper - 1 piece
- Spanish onions - 2.1 oz
- Avocado - ½ piece
- Cilantro - 3 tablespoons
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the tomatillo in boiling water until soft, about 5–8 minutes.
Step 2
Meanwhile, in a well-heated skillet, sauté the unpeeled garlic cloves, whole jalapeño, and thinly sliced onion for 5–7 minutes until golden brown. Let cool slightly and peel the garlic, then chop it roughly. Also, remove the seeds from the jalapeño and cut it into small pieces.
Step 3
In a blender, combine the tomatillo, garlic, jalapeño, onion, and diced avocado. Blend until smooth.
Step 4
Add the cilantro, and season with salt and pepper.
