Grilled Burrito with Beef and Prunes

Ingredients

  • Beef - 3.5 oz
  • Tortillas - 1 piece
  • Arugula - 1.1 oz
  • Olive Oil - 3 teaspoons
  • Salt - a pinch
  • Ground Black Pepper - a pinch
  • Malt Vinegar - ½ teaspoon
  • Prunes - 0.5 oz

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Soak the prunes in a separate container.

Step 2

In a regular skillet, lightly heat 1 teaspoon of olive oil. Rinse the beef steak, season with salt and pepper on both sides. Cook in the skillet for 7 minutes on each side. A crispy crust should form during this time.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, dress the arugula with 1 teaspoon of oil and ½ teaspoon of vinegar. Chop the prunes and add them to the salad. Mix well.

Step 4

Pat the cooked steak with a paper towel to remove excess oil. Slice the meat into long pieces.

Step 5

Place the salad in the center of the tortilla. Evenly distribute the slices of beef on top. Now fold the bottom end of the tortilla, then fold the sides in turn. Gently press them to secure the shape. Leave the top edge open.

Step 6

In a grill pan, lightly heat 1 teaspoon of oil. Cook the tortilla on both sides for about 3 minutes, starting with the front side, to better secure the shape. Remove excess oil with a paper towel and serve immediately.
