Ingredients
- Peeled Cooked Shrimp - 15.9 oz
- Coarse Salt - 1.1 oz
- Brown Sugar - 0.3 cup
- Water - 1 qt
- Olive Oil - ¼ cup
- Minced garlic - 2 teaspoons
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 tablespoon
- Chili Flakes - ¼ teaspoon
- Dry White Wine - 2 tablespoons
- Avocado - 2 pieces
- Sangrita - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a bowl, mix salt, sugar, and water. Stir until the sugar dissolves. Add the shrimp, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for at least 1 hour. Rinse under cold water and dry well.
Step 2
In a bowl, mix olive oil, garlic, parsley, red pepper, and wine. Add the shrimp, mix, cover with plastic wrap, and refrigerate for 1 hour.
Step 3
Preheat the grill. Brush the grill grate with vegetable oil.
Step 4
Place the shrimp on the grill and cook for 3-5 minutes on each side until done.
Step 5
In deep plates, pour a ladle of sangrita, top with shrimp and diced avocado.
