Ingredients
- Pitted olives - 2.3 oz
- Capers - 3 tablespoons
- Champagne Vinegar - 2 tablespoons
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 3 tablespoons
- Fresh basil leaves - 12 pieces
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Olive Oil - 2 teaspoons
- Water - ¼ cup
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Spanish onions - 4.2 oz
- Squid - 15.9 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the grill or barbecue.
Step 2
In a blender, finely chop the chopped olives, capers, lemon juice, vinegar, basil, minced garlic, and 1 tablespoon of olive oil. While blending, slowly add the water. Transfer to a bowl and add the sliced red pepper and thinly sliced onion.
Step 3
Brush the squid with the remaining olive oil, season with salt and pepper. Place on the oiled grill and cook for about 3 minutes until done, turning once. Slightly cool and cut into thin strips.
Step 4
Serve the squid with the peppers and mix.
