Grilled vegetable skewers with mushrooms and yakitori sauce
Ingredients
- Courgette - 1 piece
- Scallions - 3 stalks
- Orange Bell Peppers - 1 piece
- Marinated cherries - 6 pieces
- Fresh Mushrooms - 6 pieces
- Salt - to taste
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- White Pepper (whole) - to taste
- Yakiniku sauce - 2 tablespoons
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Soak 6 bamboo skewers in cold water for 2 hours.
Step 2
Cut the vegetables into small pieces and thread them onto the skewers along with the mushrooms. Brush with vegetable oil and sprinkle with salt and pepper.
Step 3
Preheat a grill pan over medium heat for 1-2 minutes until it starts to smoke, and grill the skewers for 4-5 minutes, turning constantly, until golden brown.
Step 4
Pat dry with a paper towel and brush with yakitori sauce. Serve immediately.
