Grilled Yellow Chili Peppers with Feta and Oregano

Ingredients

  • Ground ancho chili pepper - 4 pieces
  • Feta cheese - 2 tablespoons
  • Olive Oil - 2 tablespoons
  • Fresh basil leaves - 1 teaspoon
  • Lemon - ½ piece

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Preheat the grill.

Step 2

Brush the peppers with 1 tablespoon of olive oil and grill until soft, until the skin starts to char. Transfer to a plastic bag and let sit for 10-15 minutes. Peel off the skin and leave whole or cut into thin strips.

Step 3

Arrange the peppers on plates and sprinkle with crumbled feta. Drizzle with the remaining olive oil and lemon juice, and sprinkle with chopped oregano.
