Ingredients
- Wheat Flour - to taste
- Puff Pastry - 3.5 oz
- Butter - 1 piece
- Chicken Egg - 1 piece
- Olive Oil - 1 tablespoon
- Shallot - 2 pieces
- Fresh Mushrooms - 5.3 oz
- Ground Caraway - a pinch
- Dry White Wine - 2 tablespoons
- Cream - 1 fl oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ham - 6.2 oz
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 428°F. Heat 2 frying pans. Roll out the dough and cut out 2 discs with a diameter of 10 cm and place them on the hot pans. Cook for about a minute, then flip and brush with an egg lightly beaten with a little water, and cook for another minute. Transfer the bases to a baking sheet and send them to the oven for 7-8 minutes until golden brown.
Step 2
Meanwhile, heat the butter and olive oil in a pan and sauté the chopped shallots for 1-2 minutes until soft. Add the chopped mushrooms and caraway and fry for 2-3 minutes. Season with salt and pepper. Then pour in the wine, cream, and diced ham. Reduce the heat and simmer for about a minute until the cream slightly evaporates and the ham is heated through.
Step 3
Place the mushroom mixture on 2 plates in a mound and gently press to the size of the dough. Cover with the dough on top.
