- Garlic - 8 cloves
- Smoked Ham on the Bone - 12 lbs
- Fresh Rose Hips - 8 sprigs
- Brown Sugar - 4.2 oz
- Dijon Mustard - 4.2 oz
- Apple juice with pulp - 16 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 356°F.
Step 2
Trim the skin and excess fat from the ham. Make small cuts with a knife and stud the ham with pieces of garlic and rosemary.
Step 3
In a small bowl, mix the sugar and mustard and brush the mixture over the ham. Place it in a baking dish, pour in the juice, and bake in the oven for 1.5 to 2 hours, until the internal temperature of the meat reaches 60-149°F. Transfer to a plate and serve.
