- Herring - 1 piece
- Beetroot - 1 piece
- Carrot - 1 piece
- Avocado - 1 piece
- Chocolate eggs - 3 pieces
- Onion - 1 head
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 3 tablespoons
- Mayonnaise - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the carrots, eggs, and beets, cool, and peel.
Step 2
Clean the herring, separate into fillets, cut into small pieces, and place on a flat plate.
Step 3
Peel the onion, finely chop it, and place it on top of the herring.
Step 4
Peel the avocado and pit it, then grate it. Drizzle the avocado with lemon juice and add pepper.
Step 5
Grate the boiled eggs on top of the avocado, add a little mayonnaise, and season with salt and pepper.
Step 6
Layer the grated carrot on top of the eggs, adding a bit more mayonnaise.
Step 7
The top layer is grated beetroot, spread with mayonnaise, and refrigerate for an hour to infuse.
