Description

Homemade burgers with pulled chicken and kefir sauce

Ingredients

  • Vegetable Oil - 5 fl oz
  • Chicken Egg - 1 piece
  • Meyer Lemon Juice - 1 tablespoon
  • Sugar - ¼ teaspoon
  • Mustard Greens - 1 teaspoon
  • Kefir - 8 fl oz
  • Scallions - to taste
  • Pickles - to taste
  • Chicken Thighs - 4 pieces
  • Hamburger Bun - 4 pieces
  • Eel - to taste
  • Courgette - 1 piece
  • Potato - 1 piece
  • Spanish onions - 1 head
  • Salt - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

In a blender cup, pour in the oil, add lemon juice, mustard, salt, and sugar. Crack the egg in as well, making sure the yolk remains intact. Cover the yolk with the blender and blend. For the first few seconds, do not lift the blender until a thick mayonnaise-like mass starts to form, otherwise, the sauce will not turn out.

Step 2

Finely chop the green onion and pickles, quantity to taste. Mix the resulting mass with the onion, pickles, and pour in the kefir, stir to combine.

Step 3

Remove the skin from the chicken, season with salt, and bake in the oven at 392°F for 1 hour. Once cooked, shred the chicken into small pieces using a fork.

Step 4

Prepare the vegetables: slice the tomato and onion into thin rings, and cut the cucumber into thin slices lengthwise. Separate the lettuce into leaves.

Step 5

Slice the buns in half and warm them slightly in a skillet. If you have a grill, toast them on it. Layer the ingredients on the bottom bun: first the lettuce leaves, then the chicken, drizzle with sauce, and top with tomato, cucumber, onion, and the top bun.
