Description

The specified amount of coffee is sufficient for a coffee maker designed for 3 cups of espresso.

Ingredients

  • Ground Coffee - 1.3 oz
  • Grated Ginger Root - 0.2 oz
  • Ground Nutmeg - 0.1 oz
  • Star anise - 0.1 oz
  • Honey - to taste

Step by Step guide

Step 1

Mix the ground coffee with the spices and fill the filter of the moka pot.

Step 2

Pour the necessary amount of water into the lower chamber, insert the filter with coffee, carefully screw on the top part of the coffee maker, and place it over low heat.

Step 3

When steam starts to come out of the spout, carefully lift the lid. If the coffee splatters too much, reduce the heat. When the coffee begins to flow smoothly into the chamber, open the lid.

Step 4

Wait until all the water from the lower chamber rises up as coffee. Then remove from heat, pour into preheated espresso cups. Optionally, add a little honey.
