- Chicken Broth - 1 qt
- Onion - 1 head
- Udon Noodles - to taste
- Butter - 0.9 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
- Herbs - to taste
- Skin-On Chicken Breasts - 2 pieces
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Prepare a good rich broth and pour it into another container if you will be cooking the soup in the same pot.
Step 2
In a pot over low heat, melt a piece of butter and sauté the sliced onion until it releases its juice. Pour in the broth, add salt and pepper. After boiling, simmer on low heat for 10–15 minutes. 4–5 minutes before the end of cooking, add the noodles (or follow the instructions on your noodle package).
Step 3
While the soup is cooking, you can prepare the chicken breast: boil until cooked, slice it across, and sauté in olive oil until golden brown, adding salt and pepper.
Step 4
Serve the cooked noodles in bowls, place the chicken meat in the center, and sprinkle with finely chopped herbs.
