Ingredients
- Chopped almonds - 2.1 oz
- French Baguette - 1 piece
- Garlic - 1 clove
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 3 tablespoons
- Olive Oil - 5 tablespoons
- Salt - ¾ teaspoon
- Ground Black Pepper - ¼ teaspoon
- Orange Bell Peppers - 15.9 oz

Step by Step guide
Step 1
Preheat the oven to 392°F.
Step 2
Cut the peppers in half lengthwise and remove the seeds and stems. Lay them in a single layer on a baking sheet and roast until soft, until the skin starts to char (15-18 minutes). Transfer to a bowl, cover with plastic wrap, and let sit for 15 minutes. Peel off the skin.
Step 3
In a blender, grind the almonds, chopped bread, and minced garlic. Transfer to a bowl and add the parsley, oil, 0.5 teaspoon of salt, and 2 pinches of pepper.
Step 4
Layer half of the peppers in a heatproof dish, sprinkle with 0.5 teaspoon of salt and 2 pinches of pepper. Then sprinkle with half of the almond mixture and repeat the layers once more.
Step 5
Bake for about 20-25 minutes until golden brown.
