Hot Chocolate with Vanilla and Dark Chocolate
Ingredients
- Sugar - 4 cups
- White Beans - ½ piece
- Liquid dark chocolate - 24 oz
- Liquid dark chocolate - 8.1 oz
- Cocoa Powder - 2 cups
- Milk - 9 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Pour the sugar into a saucepan and add the vanilla bean, split in half. Extract the seeds, lightly crush them by hand, and add them as well. Mix well, cover with plastic wrap, and let it sit overnight at room temperature.
Step 2
In a food processor, grind both chocolates into crumbs.
Step 3
Remove the vanilla bean from the sugar. Add the chocolate and cocoa powder to the sugar. Mix well.
Step 4
For one serving, heat 280 ml of milk and add 0.25 cups of the mixture. Mix well. Serve warm, topped with unsweetened whipped cream.
