Ingredients
- Mustard Greens - 1 tablespoon
- Herring - 3 pieces
- Egg white - 4 pieces
- White bread - 12.3 oz
- Vegetable Oil - 2 tablespoons
- Milk - 17 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Boil the eggs and let them cool. Mash the yolks with mustard, gradually adding vegetable oil. Cut the bread and fry each slice in oil.
Step 2
Spread the mixture of mustard and yolks on one side of the toasted bread. Top with slices of herring and place in the oven for five minutes. Serve hot.
Step 3
Clean the herring, removing the bones and skin. Soak the resulting fillet in milk for one hour and slice.
