Ingredients
- Pears - 4 pieces
- Roquefort cheese - 1.8 oz
- Aged gouda cheese - 1.8 oz
- Chopped Sage Leaves - 1 teaspoon
- Cognac - 1 teaspoon
- Ground Cumin - ½ teaspoon
- White bread - 8 slices
- Red Long Chili Peppers - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the pears, cut them in half, and remove the skin and core.
Step 2
Grate the cheese on a fine grater, add parsley, cumin, pepper, and cognac.
Step 3
Mix thoroughly.
Step 4
Place the bread on a baking sheet, and on the slices, place the pear halves.
Step 5
Spread the cheese mixture over the pears.
Step 6
Bake in an oven preheated to 428°F for 10 minutes.
Step 7
Serve the appetizer hot, lightly sprinkled with pepper.
