- Tomatoes - 2 pieces
- Butter - 1.8 oz
- Fresh Mushrooms - 8.8 oz
- Minced garlic - 1 tablespoon
- Sourdough Bread - 8 pieces
- Arugula - 1 bunch
- Cheddar cheese for sandwiches - 4 slices
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a large skillet, melt the butter and add the garlic. Then add the chopped mushrooms and sauté for 5-6 minutes until soft.
Step 2
Meanwhile, toast the bread in a toaster or on a grill on both sides until golden brown. Slice the tomatoes into thin rounds.
Step 3
On 4 slices of bread, layer the mushrooms, then 2 slices of tomatoes on top, followed by a slice of cheese and a small amount of arugula. Top with the remaining bread and serve immediately.
