Hummus with Soy Sauce
Ingredients
- Chickpea - 2 cans
- Tahini - 1.8 oz
- Olive Oil - 0 fl oz
- Sesame Oil - 0 fl oz
- Soy Sauce - 1 fl oz
- Meyer Lemon Juice - 0 fl oz
- Garlic - 3 cloves
- Salt - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Drain the water from the can of chickpeas into a separate container.
Step 2
Transfer the chickpeas to the blender bowl.
Step 3
Add tahini.
Step 4
Pour in the olive oil.
Step 5
Add soy sauce.
Step 6
Add sesame oil.
Step 7
Squeeze the lemon juice, making sure that no seeds get into the mixture.
Step 8
Add the peeled garlic to the mixture.
Step 9
Blend everything until smooth.
Step 10
If the hummus is too thick, add a little liquid from the chickpeas and blend again. Taste and add more soy sauce or lemon juice to your liking.
Step 11
Transfer the prepared hummus to a plate, garnishing it with olive oil and either chickpea popcorn or toasted pine nuts.
