- Tahini - 1 tablespoon
- Olive Oil - to taste
- Lemon - 1 piece
- Garlic - 2 cloves
- Cilantro - 1.1 oz
- Spinach - 5.3 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Sauté the spinach in a small amount of water with a pinch of salt for 30 seconds. Then drain it in a colander, cool it down, and squeeze out the excess water.
Step 2
In a blender, combine the chickpeas, tahini, cilantro, spinach, salt, garlic, lemon juice, and olive oil, and blend until smooth.
Step 3
Transfer to a suitable dish, drizzle lightly with olive oil, and sprinkle with pomegranate seeds. Serve with pita.
