Hungarian Spinach Soup
Ingredients
- Spinach - 17.6 oz
- Onion - 2 heads
- Butter - 1.1 oz
- Cream - 7 fl oz
- Wheat Flour - 3 tablespoons
- Bacon - 7.1 oz
- Salt - to taste
- Chicken Egg - 2 pieces
- Ground Black Pepper - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
Wash the spinach and boil it in boiling water for 5 minutes. Then remove the spinach and blend it.
Step 2
Chop the onion and sauté it in butter. Then add the flour and sauté for another 3 minutes.
Step 3
Slice the bacon thinly and fry it in a dry pan.
Step 4
Boil the eggs hard and slice them.
Step 5
Pour the spinach broth over the onion, bring to a boil, and simmer. When the soup thickens, add the spinach and cream. Season with salt and pepper, add the bacon and eggs, and remove from heat.
