Ingredients
- Sugar - 4 tablespoons
- Water - 8 fl oz
- Instant coffee - 2 tablespoons
- Vanilla salt - ¼ teaspoon
- Milk - 6 fl oz
- Cream - 2 fl oz
- Ice - 12 fl oz
- Whipped Cream - to taste
Step by Step guide
Step 1
In a dry skillet, add the sugar and place it over low heat. Cook until it turns golden caramel. Add 180 ml of water and cook until the caramel melts (it should bubble).
Step 2
In a metal bowl, combine the coffee and remaining sugar. Pour in the hot caramel and stir until smooth. Add the vanilla and remaining water.
Step 3
In a blender, combine the coffee with caramel, milk, cream, and ice until smooth. Pour into glasses and top with whipped cream.
