For more detailed instructions on how to brew coffee, visit http://soyuzcoffee.com/en/lifestyle/brewing-guides/chemex. A coffee brewing device. For 'Coco Ice', I recommend a Chemex. Freshly roasted coffee beans. For 'Coco Ice', I recommend the BARISTA blend No. 4. Ice (one serving of 'Coco Ice' requires one glass of ice).
Ingredients
- Ground Coffee - 0.8 oz
- Coconut Milk - 10 fl oz
- Water - 13 fl oz
Step by Step guide
Step 1
First, brew the coffee in the Chemex. Take 24 grams of coffee and 380 ml of water. Grind the coffee coarsely (like sea salt). Rinse the filter with hot water to remove the paper smell and warm the Chemex. Heat the filtered water for brewing to 92–201°F. Place the Chemex on a scale, add the ground coffee, pour in a little water, and wait for 20–30 seconds. Then pour the water in a thin stream, evenly wetting the coffee.
Step 2
Crush the ice into small pieces in a blender, add the brewed coffee and coconut water. Mix very well.
Step 3
Pour the finished iced coffee into glasses. You have created a very refreshing tropical drink, where the fruity flavor of the coffee is complemented by the rich sweetness of the coconut. Enjoy!
